The building location and form responds to an awkward ‘T-shaped’ site, allowing dual access from the north and south ends of the site. The design of the Kindergarten aims to provide a playful and calming environment for the children and staff, expressed through the careful selection of a natural and soothing color scheme and material palette that complements the surrounding landscape. A nature based outdoor learning and play area, accompanied with productive gardens, encourages exploration, movement and curiosity for kids to engage with each other and their surroundings.
