Martha Estate

Mixed Use

Set on over 63 acres of verdant green pastoral land, this Mornington Peninsular site gently slopes down to its own river and wetlands, with expansive bay views beyond. Now laden with 17 acres of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz vines, the highest point on the estate will soon be home to a new winery, cellar door, signature restaurant and tasting room. Embedded into the topography, the rear walls are constructed of a charcoal darkened rammed earth which follow the contours, breaking only for access into the building and glimpse of the views beyond. Once through the protective walls, a linear plan moves guests through the restaurant and cellar door, proving uninterrupted farmland and ocean views to the west, over the vineyard, between a series of towering timber columns.
