This project involved the refurbishment of the existing kindergarten room and the addition of a second room, creating a cohesive two-room kindergarten with a distinctly new and welcoming street front presence. The design fostered a nurturing and stimulating setting for children aged 3 and 4, integrating natural light and tactile materials to encourage exploration and creativity. Emphasizing safety, accessibility and functionality, the scheme also includes concealed yet highly accessible ancillary spaces for staff and visitors. The new landscape connects in with retained elements of the existing outdoor environment, preserving mature plantings and natural features to enhance a sense of continuity and belonging.
